Join The Traymore's rehabilitation team in Dallas, TX as a Speech Therapist. This is an opportunity to significantly impact lives, helping our post-hospital residents regain essential communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on resident needs.

• Provide direct therapy using exercises, strategies, and adaptive techniques.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (PT, OT, physicians, nurses) for integrated care.

• Monitor and document resident progress, adjusting plans as needed.

• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication techniques and safe swallowing.

• Contribute to discharge planning and recommendations for ongoing support.

• Uphold professional standards with patient-centered care.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid SLP license in Texas.

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

• Experience with geriatric populations, preferably in a rehabilitation setting.

• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and the team.

• Good organizational and documentation skills.

• Current CPR certification.
