Twinsburg, Ohio - May 28, 2003 - Traymore Marketing, a full service advertising and public relations firm won SECOND PLACE in the 2003 Direct Marketing Awards sponsored by the Northeast Ohio Direct Marketing Association (NODMA). The Award was presented to Bruce Felber, Traymore Marketing's Creative Director on May 13th, 2003 at the sixth annual awards presentation held at Windows on the River. Traymore Marketing won for their dimensional direct mail piece for Six Flags Worlds of Adventure's annual Fright Fest event. Susan Williamson, NODMA Awards Chair and keynote speaker Progressive Corporation's Laura Sheridan awarded the second place to Traymore Marketing in the Solo Business to Business category. The promotional objective of the campaign was to encourage media coverage at Six Flag's annual Fright Fest event. The mailing consisted of a gooey heart in a petri dish with invitation copy proclaiming "Heart Pounding Halloween Thrills" await guests at this year's Fright Fest. "We received significant print, television and radio coverage in all of our core and some of our outer markets. Certainly more coverage than in previous years," said Six Flags Public Relations Manager, Shannon Pak.  This is the 3rd NODMA award for both Traymore and Six Flags, having won a first and third place award the previous two years. The annual Direct Marketing Awards were judged by the Detroit Direct Marketing Association, NODMA's sister organization.
